Coach JP has over 30 years of competitive basketball playing experience and 11 years of experience coaching children. In addition to coaching basketball, he also has 15 years of experience as a Fitness Coach.
Passionate about the sport, Coach JP loved what basketball taught him growing up and wants to teach children the same principles he learned. Confidence, Discipline, Hard Work. All the tools that are important in the game of basketball but more important to personal development elsewhere.
Coach Tracey is a former Division 1 Collegiate athlete. She played basketball at Santa Clara University and professionally in Iceland. She has coached elementary, junior high, and high school aged teams locally and out-of-state. Coach Tracey also proudly served in the US Navy for nine years.
Playing basketball gave her a sense of freedom that she really connected with. Basketball has taught her many life skills such as learning how to be confident, a team player, and a sense of determination. These are the reasons why she genuinely enjoys coaching and passing down the knowledge and lessons she has learned throughout the years. Her passion for the game and the development of individuals is very evident in this sport.
Coach Anthony is a former basketball player at Merced Junior College. Through the years of playing in high school and college he learned the value of hard work, attention to detail and being a team player. Coach Anthony has a passion for fundamentals, making sure the kids work hard, and most importantly having fun while playing basketball. He has over 10 years of coaching experience at the High School Varsity level and a former Head Coach of 8th grade boys Basketball. Coach Anthony definitely knows what it takes to develop young boys and girls in the game of Basketball. In his free time, Coach Anthony loves spending time with his wife and two amazing kids, attending church, traveling the country as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and flying his small plane as a Commercial Pilot. Coach Anthony looks forward to working closely with your kids and helping them develop the skills and confidence not only in Basketball but off the court as well.
Coach Sharaav started playing basketball in the 5th grade. His favorite basketball player of all time is Allen Iverson. What he enjoys most about teaching the game of basketball is seeing the students in his class develop the confidence and enjoyment that he experience when he was introduce to the game.
Playing basketball has taught Coach Ani many things in life, including the importance of hard work and how to have fun, he wants to pass down his skills to the future generation of basketball players. Coaching basketball and working with younger players to improve their skills is something he is very passionate about and enjoys doing. His favorite thing to see in his students is the willingness to learn, and the constant improvement that comes along with it.
Coach Sandheep has been playing basketball ever since 2nd grade. The game of basketball allowed him to create new friendships and learn how to have great teamwork. Being a coach at Prolific Hoops taught him to stay positive and motivated at all times. Seeing kids improve their basketball skills and work harder to become the best versions of theirselves makes him extremely proud!learn, and the constant improvement that comes along with it.
Coach Rishabh started playing basketball when he was only 7 years old. His favorite basketball player is Kyrie Irving and favorite team is the Brooklyn Nets. His favorite part about coaching basketball is watching the students improve over time and become better players, while having fun. Coach Rishabh enjoys coaching basketball and working with younger players to improve their skills is something he is very passionate about and enjoys doing. His favorite thing to see in his students is the willingness to learn, and the constant improvement that comes along with it.
Coach Ayush started playing basketball in the 4th grade. Some of his favorite basketball players include Paul George and Kyrie Irving. He enjoys coaching basketball to see his students learn and have fun, just like he did when he started playing.
Coach Anurag enjoys coaching basketball. It helps him develop personally as a leader. Teaching at Prolific Hoops also enables him to combine his love for this game. He joined Prolific Hoops because of the freedom he receives teaching children what they are struggling on instead of following a script within the game of basketball.
Prolific Pete enjoys hyping up the audience during game day. You can catch Pete dancing or simply just standing victoriously while taking pictures with parents and kids. He is definitely a great addition to the Prolific team.
