When do programs start?
You can join at any time! Prolific Hoops is a year-round academy.
How does the free trial work?
Free trials are given before committing to sign up. This is to ensure that your child is evaluated based on his or her age group and skills level.
What does my child need to bring to each class?
- All medical related devices , if applicable to your child’s health (Inhaler, EpiPen, etc.) Our coaches will have basic first aid kits available.
- A reusable water bottle or flask with your child’s name.
- A basketball. Please write your child’s name on the basketball to avoid confusion. Your child’s basketball-size should accommodate their strength. Here’s a general guide with what we recommend for your child:
Girls:
Ages 5-7: Size 27.5 Ages 8 and Up: Size 28.5
Boys:
Ages 5-6: Size 27.5 Ages 7-10: Size 28.5 Ages 11 and Up: Size 29.5
If my child misses a class, are make-up classes available?
Yes, make-up classes are available. Please notify Prolific Hoops ahead of the scheduled class time and we will reschedule your child on the next available class that is based on their age and skills level group.
What if I don't see a membership or class that works for my child's schedule?
If you do not see your an appropriate class for you child, please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate a coach and time slot for you.
What is your make up class policy?
Missed classes will always be honored as long as your child is enrolled in our basketball academy. However, we do not prorate or credit any pending make up classes for the following month if your child is no longer enrolled. The make up classes will be good for the following month if your child is still enrolled with Prolific Hoops.
