When do programs start?
You can join at any time! Prolific Hoops is a year-round basketball academy, and players can register throughout the year as space allows.
How does the free trial work?
New players can attend a free trial class before registering. This gives our coaches an opportunity to evaluate your player’s age, skill level, and experience so we can recommend the class that’s the best fit for their development.
What does my child need to bring to each class?
Please have your player bring:
- Water bottle — A reusable water bottle labeled with your child’s name.
- Basketball — Please label the ball with your child’s name to avoid mix-ups.
- Required medical items — If applicable, please bring any necessary medical devices or medications, such as an inhaler or EpiPen. Our coaches also have basic first-aid supplies available.

Girls
Ages 5–7: Size 27.5
Ages 8+: Size 28.5
Boys
Ages 5–6: Size 27.5
Ages 7–10: Size 28.5
Ages 11+: Size 29.5
If my child misses a class, are make-up classes available?
Yes. Please notify Prolific Hoops before your child’s scheduled class. We’ll help arrange a make-up class in an appropriate age and skill-level group, subject to availability.
What if I don’t see a class that works with my child’s schedule?
Please contact us! We’ll be happy to help you explore available class options and find the best fit for your child’s age, skill level, and schedule.
What is your make-up class policy?
Missed classes may be made up while your child remains actively enrolled with Prolific Hoops. Make-up classes can carry over to the following month as long as enrollment remains active and are subject to class availability. Unused make-up classes are not eligible for refunds, credits, or prorated tuition if enrollment is canceled.
